They were all a bit preoccupied doing their own thing for a while there. Albert Hammond Jnr. in particular did a fair bit of touring for his two albums from memory.

Why do musicians have to be such ego serving wankers? In his mind he's saving the planet but in reality he is just some anal bloke who frustrates his (Australian) fans.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

I wish more of the ego serving wankers could make music that good and yes I wish he would expand his carbon footprint enough to fill a few Australian stadiums.

Shit, can't believe I didn't realize Radiohead released a new album. It should be big news like the Foo Fighters album (who i also love) but they don't get the attention they deserve. Big month of new albums for me.

Anyone listening to Oh Mercy? Cool, relaxed vibe

New Radiohead is still a little jarring for me - some nice moments though

Has anyone got hold of the new Beasties album? I'm going to give it a listen over the next few days but I've heard reasonably positive reviews.

Not yet, but I love the first single.

Not a fan of most of it. Codex and Lotus Flower however are very good songs, and Little by Little is solid, but the rest are still fairly poor I think.

Normally not my sort of music, but they played a set at Boogiefest and I really enjoyed it.

Sounds like perfect beer garden / laying down on the grass with a drink music.
I don't often get converted to a band on the back of a single set but Oh Mercy certainly did.

LOVING the new Foo Fighters cd Wasting Light. Especially the first 5 songs - great way to start an album. Can't wait until they tour again.

Absolutely agree. Arlandria is awesome as is Walk and Bridge Burning. Arlandria is the best song though

My two favourites are Bridge Burning & White Limo. I read on the Triple M website that Tenacious D will be supporting Foo Fighters on their tour. I wonder if Dave Grohl & Jack Black will bring some ladies lingerie & reprise the "Low" filmclip?
