Whilst I agree with most of what you said, the one down side to vinyl is actually playing the tracks you want, if you don't play a whole album and forget about a continuous play list. It is easy to scratch the vinyl and you need to make sure you have a quality turntable and your needle is kept pristine. I still have my old collection from the 70's and 80's and now my daughter is enjoying some of the albums and has her own vinyl collection.
