Watched part one of the new series of Silent Witness
Both shows available on BBCIplayer
Did you notice they used the same sets for Luther and Silent Witness? It's all over Twitter. The BBC made one show a while after the other but they aired them at the same time and didn't pick up on it before airtime.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

That's hilarious! Reminds me of when they used the same sets on Blake's Seven and Dr Who (and of course all the geeks noticed).
Allowed Mr Lore to talk me into watching Das Boot on SBS, but it was really gripping, much better than I was expecting. Never setting foot in a submarine in my life though.
I've watched the first couple of episodes of Catch-22 on Stan. Dark comedy about WWII bomber crews. Have quite enjoyed it so far.
Just finished it today. Mixed in some pure dark, with the dark comedy over the course. Enjoyable watching and a good debut for Clooney in this type of mini-series, following on from Ben Stiller's mini-series debut Escape at Danemora. I wonder which actor is next to take on the challenge of directing.
Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023
Oh, and a shout for those who recommended the Americans. The first couple of seasons so far were well worth it.

Disappointed in what? Isn’t the book always better than the movie?
Not always. I hadn't read the book before I saw the film (Have you seen it? It's like a doorstop even in paperback) but in this case the book and the film were great for so many reasons.

Recently finished Season 2 of Killing Eve which was really enjoyable, season 4 of Peaky Blinders and season 2 of Barry, which is fantastic.
Very much looking forward to Handmaids which I haven't started yet
