Yeah I wouldn't have a problem if it stated in mid to late November and wound up in early March. 3 or 4 months isn't too bad but half the year is a bit too much. It starts to encroach into hay fever season too and the extra hour to enjoy pollination time and the extra grass sporns is no fun
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yeah pretty much agree there Twodogs. I believe it used to be like that. Anyway personally prefer winter time.

I used to love winter but now I really feel the cold but I've learned to cope with the heat.

Yeah summer is ok as long as there isn't too many 40 degree days. We were very lucky last summer. February which is usually a hot month was surprising cool went to the pre season game and family day at Whitten Oval and the weather was just nice. Had it been 40 degrees many would have given it a miss. Hopefully it is similar summer again this year warmish but not too hot.

Family Day is usually bone achingly hot but it wasn't too bad last year.

I've just moved back down and really struggling with the drop in temperature.

That's right you've been up North for a fair chunk of time haven't you? A few years ago I went up to Darwin in July for the football and spent 4 days up there in the sun. When I got back to Melbourne I couldn't move more than 3 metres away from the heater for nearly a week after.

Yes that's right TD in previous years it was quite hot for the family days.

Must be great to be back in Victoria KT31. You must be looking forward to getting to more Doggies games in 2018.

Are you in the country or back in the metro area? Yeah weekend work does affect match attendances.

As of next Monday I will be a fully licensed driver. Will not have to renew again for another 10 years.

I've been cooking. I was making meatloaf but I wanted it to cook quicker than it normally takes for a meatloaf to cook. It was already late, I was hungry. My solution was spooning the mixture into silicon muffin pans and they were done in half an hour. I'm so smart sometimes I scare myself.
