20 years ago we got to make it up as we went along, it was a special kind of indulgence. None was expected to be an expert in something we'd just watched a video about. We were allowed to make mistakes and that's how we learned stuff. The YouTube vids are good but learning by trial and error is more fun I reckon. YouTube vids take a bit of the magic away.

                Where does it say that?

My dad had a saying "never show an idiot a job that's half done" if the people you work for could see their projects at the halfway stage most of them would never hire you again. Somehow the job always looks perfect when you pack your tools away though.

Great thanks Easty. I built it for my brother in law as a Christmas present. We use it quite often, and we had one absolutely epic NBA Jam tournament on it once - great night (and I won the tournament too).

This one has been a lot easier because I remembered a lot of where I went wrong and right the first time.

                  Thanks for asking.

Is it my nerd or tradie brain that's giggling at the fact I had to fix the quotation in your post?
