Love the effort BT but sorry all a coincidence and safe to sell, I remember in the mid 70's at primary school being made sit on the Melbourne Rd footpath waving a flag as the Royal cavalcade went passed and the Doggies quite crap then.
From memory they headed down to near the Altona pool and had a cuppa with someone in the new Housing project.
It's better to die on our feet than live on our knees.

I have very vague similar memories also. We had to go down to the naval dockyards near Nelson Place, Williamstown, and wave flags, would've been around 1977 - same tour?
This is a dangerous mix... I admit it's dumb on my part, but early last year I was in a similar type store and saw that Queen Eliabeth & Sir Prince Phillip toured Melbourne in 1954 and I believe we're around our western suburbs in our great season. So my wife says as a joke that maybe 'why you haven't won a premiership since then, maybe you invite QE2 out and buy the (inexpensive) 1954 Royal Tour Memoribilia to break the drought'. Well I did buy it, and then our form turned last year. So I bought some more off eBay and then out form kept getting better. But I then ran out of things to buy at a cheap price by late year. Blame Talia, not me.
So I've either got to get to buying it for the sake of all of us and the club, or admit it was a coincidence and re-sell it as a big collection. Feel free to tell me that my purchasing of such items from 1954 doesn't impact the club's fortune this season!! Or, if this is a thing to invite Liz & Phil to tour our club facilities immediately!!
Although not a fan myself there is always a buyer for Royal memorabilia BT. So not knowing how much you paid it appears you have bought well. Maybe you should wait till the end of the season before you decide.
When I was at kingsville primary in the early '70s Charles went down Somerville road on his way to Timbertop and we all had to go outside and wave.
Like good little subjects........
Watching Djokovic vs Simon on the box, and it's got to be the most lacklustre game I've seen 2 x top 15 players play. Long rallies finished off with an unforced error seems to be the flavour of the day.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Heh! Dear old dad was furious. "If the teachers want to waste their time time waving at inbreds then that's up to them but I send the boy to learn" I think we're his exact words. I told him that I didn't wave as a personal protest toward the imperial regalia. He seemed happy with that.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
