Good point, the rain on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning delayed the start of the game due to a wet outfield and NSW just bowled very well with their experienced seamers in Bird, Tremain and Dwarshuis

Harris has failed to get runs in the 2nd inning as well falling to Tremain. Lets hope Pucovski can get amongst the runs.

Its day 4 in 3 games today.

VIC has just about won the game against NSW who collapsed yesterday to some good bowling.

QLD needs to take 8 wickets today to beat TAS. Neser returned to game game.

SA will need to score about 350 to beat WA
      Hardie made 99 yesterday.

Impressive win by TAS today chasing down a huge score with Matthew Wade making a century. QLD just couldn't get any momentum with their bowling.

WA rolled SA today with Joel Paris taking 11 wickets for the match.

        VICs rolled NSW

Joel Paris has to be in the Test squad conversation now that his body is right. He's taken 17 Shield wickets at 13 this year and has a First Class bowling average of 20.6. He swings the ball, he's nippy, he's tall enough to be uncomfortable and he'd be a good Test number 9 with a First Class ton and batting average of 24.

He's also only 30, so there's the potential for a Stuart Clark style tenure, where we can get a good three or four seasons out of him. I'd probably be moving away from Boland considering his age and how England were pretty comfortable with him. Neser hasn't set the world alight with the ball and I'm not overly convinced by Morris - Paris is well and truly WA's strike bowler.

Bancroft also has to be the next man in with the bat. He's approaching 500 runs already and having another big season - clearly the best bat in the comp.

Fully agree, Paris is bowling exceptionally well. Not sure if the selectors would make a hard call on our preferred players though but Paris must be ahead of Morris and at least on par with Boland and Neser as the next best. From memory Paris is a reasonable gully fieldsman as well. I hope we haven't mozzed him as he didn't finish his 8th over in the 2nd innings.

Bancroft is also an excellent fielder and took 5 catches in the first innings against SA.
Aaron Hardie is also doing well with both ball and bat.

Vics struggling today with the loss of Kellaway, Sutherland and Harper. Kellaway and Sutherland didn't offer shots and were bowled. Harper got a ripper and was caught in the slips. Perry and O'Neill have steadied things somewhat.

Got to a declaration in the end and are on top now
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Great game between WA and SA with Western Australia winning by 2 wickets

Vics in a strong position vs QLD declaring 7 for 300 and QLD 5 for 106 at stumps at the end of day 2.

He tried to play a wide one from Swepson early in the innings and drag it across to mid wicket only to get a bottom edge and was out to a very lucky catch off the keepers pads.

Victoria lead Queensland by 237 runs with 4 wickets remaining. None of the top order batsman really got going so with 6 wickets down the Vics will be hoping a quick partnership between Harper and O'Neill will push the score to 200 and give them a 280 run lead.

Great win by the Vics over QLD. Will Sutherland Player of the Match
NSW have crumbled to TAS and would need a miracle.

Fantastic contest in a Marsh Cup game between SA and WA with WA getting home with just 3 balls to spare. Whiteman with 137no steered the ship.
