Good trade by WC. Sinclair is a former rookie pick who was rated by approximately no one until about 2/3rds of the way through the season. They've also got a very good 2nd ruck on a long term contract waiting in the wings.

Now they've bolstered their midfield which is/was a little one paced.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Agree, looks a win-win to me. West Coast are very well covered with Lycett, I had no idea Sinclair was 26.

Was that an attempt at a Darryl Kerrigan reference?

              If so, a third rounder...

A third rounder for a set of jousting sticks!

From now on steak knives are jousting sticks in the context of sweeteners added to get trades over the line.

The way I see it, they need to win him over.

Howe to Collingwood - trade may be done today involving Ben Kennedy.

How are Collingwood managing to fit the crazy demands of Howe (doesn't he want $600k?) plus Treloar ($700k) under their salary cap???

Apart from Cloke and Pendles, who would be on big money at the pies?

I am glad we are staying away from over rated hacks.

Well nobody else would be on massive money, but I would imagine most teams wouldn't have more than 2 players on that sort of coin (I'm guessing $800k each for those 2).

Beams would have freed up some room, but then they got Greenwood who was on about $500k from memory. Adams would have been well compensated to cross from GWS. No idea what Swan gets these days, likely much less than he got a few years ago.

I get what you are saying but I just don't get how they have a spare $1.3 million in their salary cap. Must be some fancy front or back loading going on.
