Actually we started this whole breakingcontractsgate when we induced Tom Boyd to break his contract with the Giants. Or was it GWS inducing Griffin to break his contract with us?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yep Griffon was talking to Leon well before we were talking to Boyd. We were actually talking to Patton when Cameron was talking to Griffon.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

If you accept Pickering's view on the Boyd/Griffen scenario it goes something like:
        - Boyd had flagged it with Pickering that he wanted to come home after his two year deal expired
        - In our meetings with Pickering we asked him which players on his list could be interested in playing for the Dogs and he said Boyd
        - We then worked with Pickering to establish a long term deal we could put in front if Boyd at the end of the 2015 season
        - GWS contacted Griffen at the right time which started the whole process.
        - Boyd would have been looking to leave GWS during this trade period and we would have been his first choice.

I don't believe he demanded to come home last year and he was more than willing to see out his contract. Griffen's departure hastened the whole process.

They're not lamenting it when we're losing players, they're making a neutral observation over what is happening between other clubs. You can still be happy when you're on the right end of something even if you disagree with it e.g. umpiring rules

I believe that many GWS players live in a shithole called Breakfast Point in the west. It's the Swans guys who live by the sea.

Lamenting is probably the wrong word.

I wouldn't say they're really "neutral observations" when they tone of recent posts is clearly disapproving. Which is fine. They're just opinions.

Neutral as in they don't involve our club

It's like disapproving of high tackle free kicks to players dropping their knees in a neutral game, then when Lachie Hunter does it you're glad we're at least working the system that's in place

Isn't Breakfast Point more Balmain than Penrith? It's inner west in geographical terms and their facility is located right on the harbour - it's a good set-up for a draftee to come into.

I don't think it actually it is a good set up in actual terms. The theory behind it is solid but the area isn't so hip and happening for the young bucks...

The money they are on they should move to a nice area. Surely they aren't forced to live there

Amicable swap of two players who were under contract.

Melbourne seems to be like a foreign country, where second tier players can get an elevation in their status, through virtue of being willing to immigrate and put up with the inconvenience. That doesn't include Crossy ( bit biased on that point ). Rather have him in my side than Melksham any day, even now.
