    I don’t see why he’d leave Fremantle

Tauru is young but a gun, we could put a further squeeze on the Saints. Ginbey is undersized but he's a brute and I'd love him.

Otherwise lesser names to consider might be Will Dawson, Jai Serong and Tylar Young,

Failing all that, there's Frost and May.
I like Ginbey a lot too, aggressive, athletic, until the ball hits his foot, then the world becomes a mystery where nobody knows what will happen next.

He's very very good. Super solid. But they'll never let him go he's one of their best talls. Also don't think he's wanting to go anywhere.

Yeah his foot skills are rough but he's absolutely built for big games and finals. He was so impressive vs Naughty when we played them.

In a good side he'd be a weapon. Would happily throw big coin at him.

So Wilkie has said no, if we can't find someone else to spend our capital on do we push the Butters button now?

He's gonna cost three first rounders, cash in this years one in a shitty draft that we were gonna send to Saints for Callum and two future ones?

The masterplan is surely to hope Port next year SUCK and the compo pick is like pick 3 or 4 and they figure thats better than the shit picks we shuffle their way otherwise, so that could be for free, but if we don't do anything good this off season how do we sell it to the world/ourselves that we actually are getting better?

West Coast suck and must have infinite cap space, there is no way we could possibly outbid them enough to convince a WA boy who also happens to be one of their three actual proper good prospects and completely fits the Eagles aesthetic to come to Melbournes 8th most attractive destination club.

Unlikely as it is, worth the question. Eagles are possibly the worst side we've seen in modern history and that ain't changing anytime soon.

I get that we aren't exactly nailing our targets but what's the alternative - to not even bother?

Young either staying at Richmond or heading West.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

If we were prepared to up our 1.1m offer to Wilkie we can afford Butters.

Happy to just pay Butters and Hail Mary JOD, Lobb and Buss tbh.
