Not sure if it is the case with Jamarra, but if the drive and passion to succeed at the elite level is not innate, it is very hard to instil into someone. As a person who has never had that drive for anything, and a passion that definitely does not aspire to be elite, I can sympathise with anyone else who doesn't. I just hope that, if that is the case, he finds his place in the world. Somewhere he really wants to be and happy with a lesser level of commitment.
Well said Uninformed. My thoughts exactly.

If the atmosphere in the rooms after the Carlton game doesn't bring him back, nothing will. Even on TV the dressing room was pulsating with positive energy.

        I don't think it's about that - at all.

It's not the playing games and spending times with mates...it's quite literally EVERYTHING else.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Seems to be showing some positive signs lately. Can we expect him to play reserves soon?

There are some real differing view on this by our supporters. I'm in a chat group that is 50/50 about playing him now at Footscray
Going off the training reports he did 4 uninterrupted weeks before missing a couple of sessions and then he wasn't on the track at all after missing the centenary game.
Today he returned to the track and was apparently the first one out there and did some extra work.
We would all love him out there but the club is best placed to determine if he is fit enough, focused and displaying the right sort of ethics with his dedication.
At some we will roll the dice but it's hard to say when.

I think we need him to start playing games and eventually play some senior footy in the second half of the season. I accept he is most likely to leave but I want something in return

If he isnt fit enough to play full forward at VFL level I will eat my hat. He would be fitter than every other full forward in the VFL comp. Put him in

From what I have read it is not about fitness, it is about where his mind is at and his attitude to being an AFL player. Maybe he has lost the passion???

Or lost the passion with us. I like to see JUH turn the corner and get back in the groove as he is a big talent that could be anything if his head is in the game.

Be nice to get Marra involved in some sort of trade that saw Zac Butters end up with us.

He certainly would not be match fit.

It didn’t look like he was doing his weights, recovery etc with the boys during that period. He still appears to be doing his strength and other work away from the club.

Would certainly be match fit to play managed minutes at vfl level, It's glorified club football. Start playing or we stop paying.

If that is the case, he is a long way off. He needs to be at the club as much as he can be. Perhaps this is as good as it gets for the next month or so.

According to the Sun this morning, Jamara is (maybe) the new Buddy, Barry Hall, or Plugger for the Swans. Just what they need to spark their revival.
