I can’t remember the last time he looked so fresh, energised and coaching without a concern in the world.

I really hope I am wrong on this and that he will sign a contract extension sooner rather than later.
Isn't handing more responsobility over to the assistants what we've been crying out for since 2021? The club simply read the room and it's completely re-energised Bevo imo. He isn't doing everything anymore which shows that he can evolve, actually delegate and heed advice for the betterment of the club.

Bevo came out very early and publicly stated the only place he'll be coaching in 2026 is the Dogs so not sure why we're throwing opportunities at other clubs into the mix.

I don't believe Bevo will entertain overtures from other clubs in-season it doesn't sound like the way he rolls.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I like performance-based contracts. If you achieve X, you get an extension; if you achieve the ultimate, you get more.

What I don't like is the continued speculation and media reporting.

Same with Bont. He needs to say he is staying and signing the contract. The supporters can't stand the will he stay or go scenario, or so called rumours.

Do you think perhaps that Bont will do “A Callan Ward” or Ablett for GCS

will he be the marque player and captain of the new Tassie side

I just can’t see any good coming from Bont Bevo nit having a contract in front of the. At the moment.

Bevo seems to be back in the some of the media's good books and he's get some positive acknowledgement for the way he is coaching.
Is he coaching that well? Is it because he extended an olive branch to many in the media earlier in the year?

To me the club has to be in a position to put an offer in by mid season and if they don't they feel like he's going to say yes they need to start sounding out candidates unless they feel either Lade or Egan are the right men.

Is Egan a typo GVGjr or do you mean Pratt?

We are well into the season by now, and so far, have been ultra-competitive in every match. That is significant start to the season, and the "Bevo pattern" is standing up well, on the field. Young players have improved greatly under his watch, and in spite of major injuries, the team cohesion is improving as a whole. After sixty odd years I am at best a sceptic when it comes to our prospects, but I can't remember a season where I have felt more optimistic at this time.

I have to say, I don't understand what we are waiting for, start operation sign Bevo now.

It is quite remarkbale the turnaround on the opinion on Bevo. Both from supporters and also the media. They say a week is a long time in football, well a year is an eternity.

                          He's been an assistant

                          Makes sense.

Should Beveridge move on, I think Pratt is the best option amongst internal ranks to replace him.

I agree. It’s an interesting one as I think Lade would likely move on if overlooked however it’s Pratt’s defensive coaching across whole team (I think that’s in his remit) that’s imo had a big say in our improvement.
