Given it's a long season and trends in strategy and tactics take a while to emerge, it could be a fortnightly or monthly special, where two to three hours are spent covering all of the updates on how things are progressing or regressing in club land. At the moment it is just week to week, this team is good, this team is bad.........and it's so horrible in the first six weeks of the season.

That's where I think it'd work. However, unfortunately due to media syndication you have the same people pushing the same shitty points across all of the platforms from post game right up until there's selection news on the table and new things to talk about.

The AFL media landscape is ****ing putrid.
Yep. I’m fine with your idea 100%. Monthly show that lasts 2 hours breaking down trends and tactics, I’d watch the shit outta that vs the 7 diffferent Corn shows on channel 7 literally repeating the same dribble.

I'm tempted to put a few post-it notes on Ameet's office window next week.

Mick Malthouse interviewed Bevo before the game and asked about his comments if he doesn't get the gig at the Dogs he won't be coaching next year. He said he is so invested in the club, the people, the players etc that he just couldn't coach next year.

Mick said it is time the club gave him a 5 year contract - none of this 2 to 3 years.

Hope we re-sign him but promise the exclusive for CH7 on one condition: you send in Kane Cornes as the journo to announce it.

I know it's a small sample size but I'll ask the question again with the WOOF community.

Has anyone changed their mind regarding Luke being re-signed
ie at the start of the season you were originally a no or more on the fence but would now be open to him being given a 2 or 3 year deal?

Since the bye last year we are 12-5 (by my count). Bevo and the team have made major changes to how we play since the disaster at the end of 2023 to the point that we appear to be one of the best teams in the comp, even managing the start of the year without key players.

The only real concern is the elimination final. It's a significant concern, but not something Bevo can really rectify for a while yet. Learning more context around the... distractions... that were going on in the lead up to that final maybe gives a bit more grace to Bevo.

I am less on the fence now.

I was a little on the fence, but have mostly been a strong Bevo supporter.

I'm now more than happy to sign him for 3+ years. Just get it done.
