Nah he doesn’t hate us. We actually helped him prolong his career he knew his knee was shot.
If we want him he will come to us.

His son was in our academy so he must not hate us that much

No matter the love, if the chance is there to guarantee his child stays in Vic he'd jump on it.

Jaxon has been in the clubs program for years too. I think if Adam had a problem he wouldn’t be taking his son to the club to train and work with our staff.

Can't wait for Adam's objective commentary if we do pick up Jaxon.

So is Jason Cooney eligible for the draft in 2025 or 2026?

From memory there are more West boys coming through. What is the story with them?

Cooney is in the under 16 squad so I would think 2026 or 2027.
I believe we have a West and maybe another Darcy not far in the future.

Yeah Jaxon Cooney 2026 draft as well as Levi West (small inside mid beast), Jaxon playing for the Geelong Falcons, don't know much about the next Darcy though, Eagleton, Dickson also not far off.

West is only in year 10 and is playing in the senior side for his school in the APS. Named in the bests in their first two games.

Well he has his son and older brother guiding him so he should be doing well.

Levi’s son is guiding him? He must be talented baby/toddler. Would be cool to have Levi & his and now known son play together in about 15 years.

In all seriousness, that means little. Ewan MacPherson didn’t make the grade, nor Wally’s younger brother, nor Ollie Liberatore in the same circumstances. You still have to be good, and Levi is very good.

Yeh very highly rated as a tough hard nosed ruck rover. Gotta love that. To confirm, he'll be available in the draft next year or in 2026?
