    O'Donnel is older though, right?

If you look at recent draftees, Marra, Darcy, Bus, we've tended to give them the first season in the VFL with perhaps a taste. I think Cody was the same too.

Bevo has said a fair few times that the draft age should be raised also.

I don't see Darcy developing enough pace to go with a leading forward.
Guys of his height just don't accelate quickly.
He should be fine in any pack situation or intercepting where he can just read the flight

His had a couple of years in the system now to build strength so I’d like to see him play on the gorillas if back. He will get a couple of bags kicked on him if not supported correctly, but i think the good will outweigh the bad as he will be a genuine interceptor in pack situations. Also his field kicking is good.

I do like his kicking but I don't see him having the physical strength to outbody an experienced forward.
He could only play as an interceptor

He’s listed as 97kg. He may look think but the added height will also make him hard for forwards to move.
Jesse Hogan is the same weight, for example.

it’s not the weight it is the core strength he needs to build on

To clarify 60% above would mean in the top 40% right? So he's in the top 6.5% of all testees for the 2k?

It's really hard to judge it that way as a lot of the more fancied players didn't complete all the tests because of various injuries they're carrying.

He's also got a long way to go to physically develop but has impressive endurance, above average leaping ability and reasonable agility for a taller player. He is also a footballer more than an athlete There are certainly some good traits there but he's a longer term project.

I get it! I guess though, those numbers aren't super fantastic. I would usually have expected a top 10 to be elite across a number of categories, not just 1. Is he a reach at pick 10?

Once again it's a hard one to answer. He's not the 10th best player in my opinion but who knows in 3 years time once he's added some size and strength. I've said before he shouldn't go as early as some are predicting but we all know it only needs one club to take a fancy too him. I think he's more of a top 15 type player given the length of time he's going to need.

I'm not sure too many 200cm players would be elite in all those categories. Obviously has great endurance, and a good leap. At his height he will be very difficult to spoil if he times his marks well. Great agility for a tall, just not very quick which isn't surprising.

Jefferson went to Melbourne last year at pick 15 as a tall, skinny KPF - you would expect Croft to fall around that point in the draft too.
