Or watching Graeme Wood bat. Except there was always the chance that he was going to burn his batting partner and run him out by half the length of the pitch.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Reset to the start of the trade period J, what would be your pass mark for Sam considering what's available. I've found it really hard to gauge what there is out there this year.

We used to call Wood "Yes, no, wait, go back, oh shit sorry mate."

            I'll quote myself.

Ladhams to the Swans, I think that's where we shoud've been aiming.

The Swans gave up pick No.12 and a future third-round selection in exchange for pick 16 and the 202cm ruckman.

But at Geelong he is guaranteed no. 1 ruck whilst with us there is no guarantee of this. We may have been interested but if he has his mind set on Geelong well then so be it. No point chasing something you ain’t going to get.

And you'd have to back English to be better surely. I mean it's Ceglar.

Good on Geelong. They've got Close and a Ceglar!

I'm very happy that I managed to go through the whole trade period without listening to trade radio.

Nah. Might have made us a legit chance though. Younger and hopefully fitter than Martin. If Martin can play as much as he can without injury then Power and Bevo get off the hook.

Even if he does, and let's hope he does play the majority of the year, I wouldn't be prepared to say it was good forward planning. I'd classify it as good dumb luck.

If Ceglar is the reason we don't win a flag, I'll join you in this reasoning

So given that we chose to play Young as a ruck at times and he is now gone, our rucks stocks are actually worse in 2022.

                            Not a good outcome.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Could have had Lynch if we wanted too. It’s pretty clear we just didn’t want a ruckman that badly. Interesting call.

I reckon this was Sam during this entire trade period.
