But why do players keep nominating Essendon? They've done bugger all for years.
If Hill wants to be near his cousin then the Hawks and Saints are probably better fits for him.

I really think players nominating clubs needs to be looked at I'm not sure it's necessary, especially when under contract.

Has anyone been out to the "hangar". It's literally in the middle of airport transport hub / industrial area.

I was surprised it's really unappealing.

I was more or less saying if you are wanting to move interstate then you shouldn't be allowed to narrow that down to one club if you already have a contract.

As GG says it might be the Dreamtime game, and maybe it's the lure of the ANZAC Day game too. I think the AFL also has to look at gifting those big games to Essendon (and Collingwood) who as you point out have done nothing for years. Maybe the ANZAC game should go to the reigning grand finalists?
