    Re: 2021 Trade Period Talk

What would trade period be without some Dodoro related drama tediously extending to the final hours. Odds of this getting done for their future 2nd with a future 3rd coming back?
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Maybe our pick 43 gets this done providing we have the cap room.

Good on J-Mac for standing his ground.
It’s either that or the ultimate posturing for a better deal.

If he doesn’t want to deal with the Dons he may end up at the Saints.

I don’t know enough about him to say (think his numbers aren’t that flash so far) but my guess is we aren’t interested or don’t have the currency.

It would be like Xmas without Santa - he gets under the skin of many, but he’s a solid operator the dodo with an impressive hairline

He's an arrogant bully boy that needs to be called out. Ironic that he's being called out by another bully boy.

              Dodoro means pash in Yiddish.

A combination of cap issues and the mid-season draft plugging list holes.
It's not like we have 15 trades to get done on the last day like prior years either.

Essendon reportedly now offering their future 2nd round pick for Bobby Hill.

That's more around the mark. It will be interesting to see if another team makes a similar offer and if GWS fold.

I don't get why Essendon try and screw other teams in deals but they have a long history of it.

I hope GWS stands firm and doesn't deal with Essendon. I get Hill wants some additional support but he has narrowed the field by preferring one club over many so I don't have a lot of sympathy for him.
He should have nominated 3 or 4 clubs if he is that keen on the move.

That seems fair to me. GWS don't have to though, they can tell Dodo to shove it up his arse and there is nothing they can do but whine like they did when we said no to trading Dunkley. As much as I hate GWS I hope they hold him to his contract

Hes agreed terms with Essendon and then they feel they can get away with trying to screw over GWS

Is he really that keen on the move? or is this just a clever, but also opportunistic contract grab?

My guess is it's the latter and shame on him for playing the support card if it's just to fast track a pay rise.
