I'd be happy to take two first rounders to draft this year - if it means we miss on Lobb (Freo play hard ball), so be it.
I'm not sure anyone else 'gettable' at trade time is worth a first rounder

If that was to occur and we have taken x2 first rounders this year on top of JUH and Darcy we could really afford to be aggressive with next years first rounder and target a high profile recruit a long way out.

If we hit the draft hard this year, which position do you think we address?
I'd say it's highly likely we only get Jones in the back half of the ground so it probably means a KPD. Not sure we'd have other list isues if we're smart this year

Really need to shore up our defence, especially KPD for the future.

I'm hoping we can get Lewis Hayes because he could be a very good prospect within a couple of seasons.

              Key defender
              mid sized forward
              mid sized lock down defender
              small forward
              Midfielder
              young ruck
More of an In Bruges guy?

If we were to have 2 picks in the top 30 I would like a KPD and best available, whether that's a mid, forward or back I don't mind.

Later picks can look at more specific needs like a young ruck or small forward.

There seems to be a few defensive interceptors available in the teens range, I'd be happy to add one.
Of course Hustwaite might be both a rebounder and a huge mid.

Just on Hustwaite, at times he looks like a very good player but he does get caught with the ball a lot and his kicking can be a bit hit or miss. I know he is projected to go around our pick but I think he would need some work. To me he could be a star or perhaps even a bust.

                      Re: 2022 Draft Watch

What an absolute disgrace that the NAB league grand final was played last night on the same night an AFL final was played at different venues. Could it not have been played as a double header at the G or as a double header with the VFL grand final tomorrow? I can't understand why this competition is being hidden when a lot of these boys will be on AFL lists next year. Wake up to yourselves AFEL.

Jakob Ryan had a quiet grandfinal, only 28 possessions, 10 marks, 8 tackles

his nickname at the club is Sis after James Sicily

                          Can he defend?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

                            Yep. But an “attacking defender”

I hope that is purely football based.
