Coby Burgiel has some wheels, looks a neat enough kick wonder If he could be an option at pick 21 for a small forward that obviously has some mid potential also.
There are 5 players regarded as elite and then players like Clark, Humphrey and a few others just outside of that.
Humphrey would be a fantastic addition for us but I think he goes very early.
If clubs like West Coast go for a local boy, Geelong for Clark and the Saints for McKenzie at pick 11 (moving to 12) we could get a real steal. Fingers crossed

Harley Reid looks absolutely ridiculous, that kid could be playing AFL next year.

He's an underager isn't he so not eligible this year?

Yep underager. Good chance he would go pick 1 if he was eligible.

Isn't Fletcher slated as a pick 11 selection?
More of an In Bruges guy?

Like it, I wonder if we will pull that trigger?
Depending if some of the more higher ranked players slide on draft night I wouldn't mind us picking Alwyn Davey Jnr who could be an exciting midfielder forward. I don't think he has nominated as a father son pick for Essendon yet.

Haven't seen him ranked that highly. Twomey ranks him at 16, Dorre doesn't have him in his top 20.

I wouldn't take too much notice of that.

It's a reference to us making sure Brisbane pay up. He's certainly a top 20 type pick.

Yes but you don't bid on a player you say rank at 20 with pick 11 just to make Brisbane pay up. Things will become clearer as we approach the draft but at this stage I haven't seen anything ranking Fletcher that high.

So what should our strategy be for 11 and 21 - assuming we enter the draft with both.

Best available? Mid? Small forward? Key defender?

I'd like us to consider Alwyn Davey jnr if he doesn't nominate father son for Essendon
If Phillipou was to slide for what ever reason that would be a fantastic result

He measured in at at just over 190cm and just over 89kg
                                His sprints were impressive
