What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

He won't slide that far but people just need to look past his height etc and the position he is perceived to play and understand there might be some work that needs to be done to get him to the required standards.

Who was the little forward for vic metro G in the GF?

Number 3 I think, dark hair looked good. Can’t find him listed.

GG, great pick up. Nick Watson was number 3 for Vic Metro but not eligible for this year.
Only 169cm tall but is a smart footballer and great around the goals.

Ah thanks Doc, looked super good and would be a great get. Let’s hope we are in with a chance next year.

Cam Mackenzie sounds like a classic St Kilda vanilla selection.

Yes, it seems he won't slide past them at 7.

I've just got the impression that if some of the more fancied players are still there they may over look him but I would regard him as a safe pick but like us and a few other clubs the Saints should be prepared to take a risk on some players with a higher ceiling.

I've watched the first half - didn't notice him at all.

I've made a list of what I have seen though ranked by where I think I'd pick them :

                              1. Hewitt WA wow looks ready made a real talent - clearly the best player out there if Ashcroft is #1 this guy is number -5.
                              2. Darcy Jones WA quick and incredibly skillful, has a fair sidestep
                              3. Sheezel VICM done nothing since the first 5 mins but you can tell he's going to be very good
                              4. Mckenzie VICM I think he's a Saints NGA, ahhh bad luck hes not going past 15
                              5. Steely Greene WA really composed balanced and skillful type that appears a natural footballer
                              6. Jefferson VICM Tall forward looks very likely. Nice mark, and very good kick for goal.
