What an absolute disgrace that the NAB league grand final was played last night on the same night an AFL final was played at different venues. Could it not have been played as a double header at the G or as a double header with the VFL grand final tomorrow? I can't understand why this competition is being hidden when a lot of these boys will be on AFL lists next year. Wake up to yourselves AFEL.

It was great when they used to play it as a curtain raiser for the AFL Grand Final. Start it early and it can still be done hours before the main game to allow plenty of time for whatever pre game rubbish they want to trot out.

I once went to a Gf from 9am and watched under 19, reserves an main game.

They'll keep it on KAYO for a while I'm sure.

Good contest and a few players have really stood out. One of them I was hoping might flub under the radar a bit.

One thing I don't understand is why the boundary umpire comes in 10 metres before throwing the ball in. AFL once more *!*!*!*!ing about with rules and the uniqueness of our game.

With no time on I think the intention was to get the ball away from the boundary line as much as possible. Getting it more into the middle of the ground isn't a bad thing for this competition.

Not every different rule needs criticized BAD.

Yes it does because it changes the game. There is no point in altering the rules.

You can't make the game look like what you want by changing rules.
