Just finished season 4 of Fargo.

Season 1 might be my favourite season of anything ever, season 3 was outstanding also, and season 2 had it's moments but never reached the same heights.

Thought this season missed the mark a little though. Never really had the charm or fun that made the shows other seasons so good.

I re-watched S2 and thought it was great second time around, though agree, S1 was utterly brilliant.

Also agree re S4, was a bit of a letdown. Some good bits and pieces, but not consistent.

Thought S4 opened to a similiar quality as S2&3, but never really kicked up a gear after that.

S2 I thought was the most up and down, I haven't rewatched it but from memory one or two episodes near the start were great and then a few more towards the end. S3 was solid for like 4 episodes then outstanding the rest (basically once the villain kicked into gear).

S4 just never really kicked out of that initial gear. S1 and 3 each had characters I would consider in the best handful of villains I have ever seen, plus likeable good guys, S4 struggled on both fronts imo.

Finally got around to watching the Asian horror “THE SADNESS”. The gore/ blood is EXTREME.
It was a cool movie.

Watched THE MENU last night…was pretty good. I expected a bit more but had its cool moments.

I enjoyed it too, nice piss take on high end restaurants, foodies and the service industry in general.

But if you're taking about Anna Torv she's not a blood relative, her Aunty is Ruprecht's ex wife. So there's hope for her yet.
