Just watched an Irish / English production for BBC 1 called Blue Lights.
Concentrates on policing in Belfast particularly following new recruits.

Correct that's a title reserved for Game of Thrones it's just disappointing they stopped at the end of season 4.

I'll also add that I think Mt Inbetween is close to the best tv show I've ever seen. Ludicrous, gritty, funny, visceral, heartfelt, funny. Just near flawless TV.

Yep... not much more to add. Other than watch it.

Just finished one of the best Police shows for a long time.

6 Part series called Blue Lights, set in Belfast, streaming on BBC IPlayer. If you enjoy police dramas, then this is one of the best.

Could be on Netflix in the next month or so, as they usually pickup BBC shows once they have finished streaming on BBC.

I?m a huge mark for it. Its writing is incredible and gives you so much to talk about and interpret with every episode, which is specifically why it?s resonated so much with its audience. I?ve never seen so much satellite content about a show as there is with Succession.

I think the show is stylish, is well written and acted, but the content has a shallowness to it that I just can't put my finger on. Like, we're going around this mulberry bush again.....weeeeeeeeee!

Some of the side-stories have added a lot of value to the package, I guess.

Finally had a break in my studies, so watched the first two eps of Wellmania last night. I like Celeste Barber's shtick generally, and this is the perfect vehicle for it.

Succession is such amazing TV and definitely not quasi high-brow claptrap.

If they had have crammed it into two seasons then I'd probably be on board, but **** me drunk it's painful.

Is anyone really surprised about who showed up after about a season and a half of absence? Oh, the intrigue is so intriguing and suspenseful I just want to shit my ****ing pants over it and then give anyone else who feels the same a massive pat on the back for being as intellectually superior as I am not least because of the delightful piano music they use.

Why am I still watching this ****ing show?

I am actually enjoying it. I think it is well written and well acted.

Did you know as part of Jerry Hall's settlement, she was told not to tell anything about the Murdoch's to the show's writers

Yes I did know that and I hate myself for it.

Has anyone actually considered that this is possibly the biggest PR bullshit stunt that **** of a family has pulled? Humanising each and every one of them in preparation for Rupert to shit his pants and finally hop the twig? I mean, it can't be because it's on HBO and everything.......

Its writing is OK. It is very stylish and the acting is better than average. But it's so ****ing shallow and overdone.
