Re: What are you watching at the moment

I just finished Andor and I must say it is my favourite Star Wars series by far (which is not saying alot about what has come before it).
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I just finished it too and I think it's around about par with Madolorian. It had more of a message to it's story which was cool but doesn't inherently make it a better piece of fiction (it does get cool points for managing to do that as part of Disney somehow though)

I wonder what part of it will be shoehorned into future Star Wars projects. Mandolorian brought us babysitting children. Will Andor lead to every series being anti-fascist (as if) or maybe *spoilers in white text* every character having secretly worked on the Death Star

Hey GvG is there a spoiler tag feature we can turn on BTW?

Paramount. Don’t know when how or why I have it but it does have Top Gun: Maverick on it so might be worth a sign up.

Yeah I really enjoyed The Last of Us. More 'character building' than I anticipated, but I enjoyed that part of it.

If anyone's after something else to watch, Tulsa King is good too.

                  Has anyone watched Goliath?

It's....odd. Billy Bob is a charismatic leading man but it's just strange...
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Need to catch up on The Last of Us but am re-watching Station Eleven with my wife who hasn’t seen it. Recommend it if you want some more quality post-pandemic watching

Tulsa King was so much better than i expected, Sly was very good.

Re: What are you watching at the moment

Ted Lasso seems more forced this season than the previous two which were a little forced in their own right.

Perhaps that style of comedy was great for when we all thought we were going to die because of COVID......I'm finding the same with Shrinking.
                          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I’m tempted to give it a shot, but nobody else in my family is keen to watch with me.

Sly Stallone absolutely rules. People my age got tricked into thinking of him as this joke Steven Seagal like figure but I’m glad Creed undid a lot of that harm.

Yeah Lasso at a press conference with Joe Biden announcing he was gonna bake cookies to save the economy or whatever has me out on Lasso for now. Think I’m a little bit emotionally sturdy at the moment which helps.
