TBH it's not as bad as The Rehearsal from that perspective.

Also Paul T Goldman. Best I can do for a synopisis is a guy wrote a book that did quite well about how his wife of a few months was secretly part of a prostitution/international sex trafficking ring and then turned that book into a screenplay. A director (who directed the second Borat movie and a couple episodes of Nathan for You) agreed to direct it but now it's a TV series and Paul is acting in it as himself and the cameras also follow and record him on set and includes interviews.

It started very centered on Paul's experiences but eventually branches out to get some different perspectives (an early example of this is when auditioning people for his first wife his actual first wife was there who they also got to do an audition the way she remembers things)

Its funny, cringeworthy at times but not overly so and it left me not really sure how to feel about the guy at the end. It's a bit comedy a bit in depth dive into a flawed human
Had a giggle at this hujsh.

Re: What are you watching at the moment

Started watching Break Point, which is kind of silly as I don't follow tennis any more and have no idea who most of the people they are speaking to are (& spend half the ep googling).

Professional tennis players are an.... interesting lot. I'm deeply questioning the fact that I spent half my childhood wanting to be one - why the hell would you want to put yourself through that kind of physical and psychological trauma day in day out?? I hated losing enough as a 14 year old let alone at a professional level!
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

And we all found heaven - 2016 Premiers!

              So. Much. Hair.

I got around to watching ep 3.

It really was quite extra ordinary.

I'll never look at Ron Swanson the same way again.

I'm glad you got over your fears of being forced into liking something and actually ended up liking it!

Watched Everything Everywhere All at Once and it was was really good. Weird movie, didn't know anything about it. Probably the best way to see it.

Also saw Love is War the movie in theatres and if you've seen the anime you know it's quality.

Started Andor recently (4 eps in) and Severence (1 ep)

EEOAO was phenomenal and I kinda can’t believe how divisive it’s been online. I think people are just hardwired to think anything with heart is lame now.

Watching ' The last of us' atm. It's a zombie series based off of a video game. Now I've played the game and that's not something I would normally do these days, and I loved the game. The series has absolutely nailed it! It is unreal. It has Pedro Pascal playing the lead role, so if you have seen his work you know it will be good. Highly recommended if zombies is your go.

Heart is where its at, without heart we have nothing... literally nothing.

There are a few of us watching it rat, discussed a fair amount over the proceeding pages. I haven't played the game but enjoying it. Don't think that you need to be into the zombie genre to enjoy though, it's a human drama firstly with a zombie backdrop.

I like zombies. My wife hates zombies. Therefore we don't watch zombies. Simple.

Technically not zombies. Well, I guess they are. But fungally infected! Sell it that way....

The idea actually came from a real scenario where a fungus controls an insect and bends it to its will.

I am talking about ANY zombie movie Gg. Tried many ways to reason but don't want to ruin our agreement where I can watch EVERY footy match.
