Watching "The Watcher". Based on a true story but has been embellished quite a bit I'd imagine. A limited series and enjoying it. Up to episode 4.

YHF, Afterlife is outstanding and one of my all time favourites and I would urge you to also have a look at Derek which is also some of Gervais's best work with a very similar cast.

Thanks Mitcha, I did catch Derek, but it didn't resonate the same as After Life did with me.

If it hasn't locked you in after 2 seasons I'd give it a rest.
I like the show but it's not for everyone.

Good, financial things hard to follow, uncompromising with character deletions, reasonably satisfying denouement with one exception.

Infinitely better that a lot of the dross on tv/streaming but I could also see how people drift away from it.

I think most of us watching TV shows are looking for someone to cheer for and shows like Ozark deliberately make their characters unlikeable and so it's hard to stay interested sometimes.

Yes totally agree.

Had potential and a decent cast but got lost up its own behind.

I'm acutely aware of streaming services trying to stick the binge watch with the first couple of episodes and it annoys me whilst and post watching. I think this was one of those occasions.

I highly recommend Andor.

Even if you aren't a Star Wars fan the pace which allows room for dynamic moments and great "birth of the rebellion" storyline make it worthwhile.

No fan pandering either.

Already a three season commitment so they can write it with that in mind.

It’s not I didn’t like it was more my better half didn’t love it.

It’s one I will need to watch by myself which is tough a tough sell when I hog the tv during footy season!

It's filler, but entertaining filler. Like a lot of these types of shows the person who clearly needs to be shot in the face isn't shot in the face quickly enough, but that's just how it is I guess.

At least it has a storyline that always had a point to it, unlike Yellowstone which is also filler but in I don't know how many seasons actually hasn't demonstrated a single point to justify its existence.

All I think about Yellowstone is maybe police running missing persons searches should just check any cliffs with bushy bases around any big ranches because apparently wanton murder is rife there.
