As ridiculous as watching DeNiro bashing someone in The Irishman?

I haven't seen it but I'm guessing so. I watched Harry Brown the other day and about halfway through my son said "Michael Caine is really phoning his dialogue in" I hadn't noticed because the writing was so good but he was right.

Yep. I’m two episodes in and was skeptical as hell, but really enjoyed the first couple of episodes.

I haven't watched it but have heard good things. Given how badly they've butchered the latest SW trilogy, Disney should just hand over any future movies to the creators of Mandalorian.

Dave Filoni is the saviour. He's an animator they recruited to do The Clone Wars and went onto do Rebels. He just gets it. Lucas basically anointed him as the heir apparent. Jon Favreau is the main man behind the Mandalorian with Dave. They should scrap the prequels from Canon and redo with Jon and Dave.

edit : redo the sequels....so many great memes would be lost if we redid the prequels.

Prequels are too ingrained in everything else now (even Mandalorian)

I don’t know how it’s possible to destroy such a beloved franchise like SW but the sequels have almost done it. Here’s hoping Filoni drags it out of the dumpster.

The Mandalorian was simply amazing. We are getting a boatload of new star wars series over the coming years too. Hopefully they can maintain the standard.

The first season is outrageously good. I think it might be Australia's closest thing to The Office or the like in terms of a genuinely enjoyable and very funny and clever take on normal people. Uncle Terry is the best of many very good characters.

Season 2 and the US Remake.....not so much.
