I agree. I just have a nagging thought that around the list management meeting someone is saying “after Croft, we have four guys over 200cm, how many do you need on the list?”
To that answer, I can rule out the idea enough opinion makers don’t just say four is enough. Lobb is the back up if Tim gets injured. Darcy is the back up to Lobb. Croft is the option that plays VFL all year like Sweet did. I think it’s dangerous, but those decision makers could then say let’s go after another small forward or lock down defender or outside runner. So I just can’t shake the idea we won’t replace Sweet like for like, but get Croft in out the time into him which should be a better pay off. I dunno.
