IMO we need to go hard and secure him.

HA ha god how I would love Tex.

We need to go hard at Carlisle IMO but I just cannot see him choosing us. Damn those clubs in their premiership window it appears we have little chance of attracting anyone without paying well overs and we run the risk of missing out and seeing the strong clubs load up with quality players who could keep them in the top 4 for years to come.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Agree we need to - he did follow us as a kid, so the romanticism aspect is there. That certainly won't hurt..

It's okay...no need to go to all that trouble. I'm just saying I don't recall it being a recurring problem.
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

Hardly surprising given he was close to all-australian in the back line last year and then Thompson decided ("put his gonads on the line") that Carlisle was a forward and they preferred Hurley in defence

We do not need any delistings! We are doing the right thing in building from the draft. But more activity at the trade table is needed?

If we don't delist at least 4 - 5 people we are really going to stagnant even more. Sure if other teams want the likes of Howard or Fuller then by all means trade them out.

I think the poster means they don't want to draft anyone other clubs have delisted.

Yes that was the way I read it as well. Other clubs delistings = duds, therefore don't go there.

Listening to it I thought McCartney just said that improvement won't come from outside this room.
We could trade in one or two that could improve out lot.
Agree that the delisted players aren't going to improve our side.

Leroy Jetta quits the Bombers. Still only 26 years old.

Does anyone know if his disposal is OK?

He's not elite, his courage is sometimes questionable. But he is quicker than anyone on our list.
