Norf think they are knee-deep in contention, and that a Waite and a Higgins is all they need to propel them to the GF. Deluded.

Reminds me of Voss at the lions when he thought he was playing super coach and decided they were close as well. Exactly the type of person you want in your SuperCoach league.

North has a lot talent there but they are still miles away.

Their seven years of rebuilding generated one of the most ordinary preliminary final performances since 2007. They are a fair way off it.

Well, at least they got there. I respect North because they are a pretty small club with a tiny membership base. They don't accept money from pokies either, which puts them at a disadvantage.

So wonder what Liam Jones will do then?
Is Matty Boyd going to play on for another year? I thought at times he looked very tired this season. What's his status?

Or if we are serious about rotating Stew and Stringer through the midfield, he'd be a good get for that plan.

Very good point, but how big an intention-behaviour gap exists in this plan? I only have faith in Stringer in the middle and that's very long term.

If we can get him cheap I wouldn't be adverse to getting Membrey anyway. Very efficient and hard working player. Plus it's 2014 and we have no sleeve tattoos.

It's a truly horrible tattoo. Should see his trade value heavily discounted, fourth rounder at best. Although if he went on Tattoo Nightmares and got it fixed up he may fetch a third rounder.
