Re: SEN new line-up for 2016

I have been listening to Francis in the afternoons and think he is doing a good job. I think he performs better without a partner.

Does anyone know what his involvement is with the Bulldogs Women's team? He has mentioned a couple of times some role he does but I am not sure.

Far better format for him. I haven't heard much but it's been more than OK.

Does anyone have a view on how the morning show is stacking up?

That little shit stain shouldn't be anywhere near our great club.

I really like that Rohan Conolly guy. Every host should have him on twice a week at least to talk about himself for an hour. How good at PlayStation he is, something that happened at Windy Hill in 1985, shows he likes on TV, where he went on holidays, redecorating do's and donts,
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

It's been ok. I think with the season still being a few weeks away, the footy related content is probably a bit strained (ie. trying to make the pre-season, leadership groups & captains, predictions for the year etc). Wednesday's, when Bob is on, is clearly the best day. Obviously I'm biased, but I think the show is a lot more fun on those days, and Hamish, Garry and Tim seem to enjoy it more also with Bob in.

I might have a listen tomorrow then. I haven't been able to bring myself to tune in to Garry Lyon, quite apart from anything else, his voice annoys me.

What time does Bob come on?

Agree Francis Leach is doing okay (sometimes turn over between Jon and Raf and catch a bit of the arvo show).

Leach definitely better without buffoons sitting along side him.

Francis leach is a lot better solo. I'd for gotten he'd had a half decent afternoon show on SEN back in the day.

From the times i have listened he isn't trying to get on top of his guests and callers. I don't think I'll ever be a regular supporter of him especially because of his comments towards our club and our supporters but I think this is the right spot for him.

I don't mind listening to Harford, White and Flemming on RSN in the mornings because I haven't tried listening to the Lyon and co yet

Bob usually comes in from 7am i think.

I thought Frank and Ox in the morning was hard to listen to, I enjoy the Ox with Marko in the afternoons, they can have some very funny moments but I find that in the morning and with Frank it just didn't work.
A lot of that was Francis Leach trying to be forceful on interviews but coming off sounding like a whinging child.
He was obviously getting told to turn up the heat on the person they were interviewing but all he did was made his voice go really high and talk over the person without given them the right of reply. It was cringeworthy at best.

For the new cast in the morning, I have no issue with the people involved. I thought the first week or so was very sombre for obvious reasons, and it's starting to lighten up a little bit but to be honest i'm just confused. There are so many comings and going of people hosting that I don't really know the format. One minute Hamish and Gary are hosting with inputs from Tim, Sam McLure, and Bob, then Anthony Hudson starts hosting for some reason.
There is just too many people involved and no continuity.
Keep it simple, Hamish and Gary hosting, and the odd guest here and there.

I think it is only Wednesday's from 8am-9am that Huddo comes in to host. Presume Hamish has a Ch7 commitment then.

Francis finished up today. I actually enjoyed his afternoon show, even though I had a different opinion at the start of the year. I think he was much better without the co host OX he use to be with.

He has decided to call it quits and re-think his future. Not sure who is taking over, but there has been a different person every year for the last 4 to 5 years.
