I'm 4 eps in, be interested to hear your thoughts when you've watched a bit. It's taking an interesting tack and the backlash has started in some places.

Season 2 was one of the best series that I?ve ever seen.

This season is trying way too hard to be capital P prestigious, and is a little too formulaic in having two characters have a conversation being the anchor of more or less every scene. Still good but not great.

Watching ep3, and yeah agree about anxiety inducing

My partner and i finished watching it last week and it was tough going. Exceptional acting especially Martin Freeman. The director is an ex copper so had plenty of skin in the game.
I dunno, as i get older i find i'm less up for real gritty drama.
I'm hoping to visit Liverpool in the next couple of years but i'm not sure if 'The Responder' did a lot for the cities tourism!

Nah there’s still a lot to do with the story, I just felt like they were really conscious of making the show “deep”. It’s big strength is how organic the characters feel, so a lot of s3 felt forced to me.

We finished it a couple of days ago and yes it was tough going, but still enjoyed it. Brits really know how to make good cop shows

I will however watch a whole Fak’s spin off series should it come.

I love Matty (not as much as I love Spoiler Fak) and hope he does more acting stuff after this.

Agree. Pretty good show but Gordon was frequently the worst part of it.

I refuse to watch Colin from Accounts because of the dual pronged all out assault by Kayo and Binge to get me to watch Colin from Accounts. I don’t think anyone has ever worked harder to get me to do something and it simply cannot be accepted.
