Just got round to it about 18 months late. Worth every second. Not sure they can replicate season two with as good as enemies, but will give that a go 18 months after it drops too.

Wow, Dune 2 sucked so much.

          Didn't like gladiator 2.

Thought Mescal really lacked the charisma of Crowe, and also was completely lost whenever he had to appear as a leader.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Anyone else see TISM on Rockwiz the other night? I watched it with my mum. She couldn't understand why I saw almost every gig they played in Melbourne through the '80s and up to the mid '90s. Then when I told her they are her grandkids' favourite band...
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I didn't see them on Rockwiz but I did see them on Spicks and Specks playing a mash up Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz and Tradies get the ladies.

No. It was a bit too much just to see the one band I wanted to see. I'll wait until they do some more secret shows in pubs around Melbourne.

My bad I meant Spics and Specs. It was the first time I'd seen it in years and only watched because I wanted to see the show after it (Vera? Hard Quiz? Something like that) and was too lazy to switch over while I was waiting. I was pretty happy that TISM were on. I'd heard they were due to play on SnS but didn't know when.

Re: What are you watching at the moment

Just finished season 3 of From, which may be the worst show I can’t stop watching. Starting to feel like any chance of a satisfying resolution is getting further away.

Shrinking on Apple TV which is mawkish and unrealistic in so many ways but also genuinely funny and emotional at times. You can see the Ted Lasso genes all through it.

Watching Day of the Jackal which is somewhere between fine and good.

Before which is mildly interesting but I feel like Billy Crystal doesn’t quite have the acting chops to carry off the part and that kind of lets the show down.
                      Bit of an uninspiring group.

Hated it. Would it kill them to include a character who is actually enjoyable to watch? The only remotely likeable character early was the Northern Irish wife, and that wasn't fun at all.

Rewatching Fargo season 3 as my partner hasn't seen it yet, now there's a bunch of enjoyable to watch characters despite being largely unlikeable.

I'm watching The Jury, Death On The Staircase on SBS. I don't know if it's one of the best shows I've seen or incredibly boring but I'll be sitting in front of the TV when the last episode goes to air on Wednesday night

Has anybody watched How to Make Gravy? I thought there were a few implausibility's but it's not meant to be a true story. Overall a good Aussie Christmas story.

                              We watched it Sunday night.

Was the whole "this is why he's in prison" stuff at the start necessary?

I just don't know why they played it that way...made the whole thing just so depressing. Anyway. Paul Kelly as the bus driver was great casting but if you're dropping a kid and his dog near a prison - on Christmas Day without calling 'someone' you're just a bad person.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Whoops - I actually came here to post something.

We've been watching the "Interior China Town" thing on Disney and it's pretty good. An original story even.

Wont say I'm loving it 'cos parts of it definitely cross into the 'stupid' category (the mean waiter jokes run their course WAY before they give up on them) but it's clever and it's just different....
