    Re: 2017 Tour of India

Why has Maxwell only been given 2 overs in 170? And why hasn't Smith given himself a trundle? Cummins has been amazing but 34 overs is overworking him to say the least.

Smith doesn't rate the fifth bowler. Marsh was underused whenever he played as well. It's something that was always a sticking point with Ponting's captaincy, just a lack of creativity

I recall reading something about Smith having a back issue that was preventing him from bowling.

        I could be wrong.

I think that is an ongoing issue with him however, he did practice his bowling a bit before the start of the game.

191 overs and Maxwell is into his fourth. Smith is going to ruin some bowlers with this kind of captaincy.

Have to bat out a draw now. 18/1,010 in nearly 4 days is an indictment on the pitch.

Gee Kohli is a smart arse.

Sensstional delivery from Jadeja into the rough. Warner doesn't know how to defend on turning decks.

And an even better delivery from Jadeja to get rid of Lyon - 2/23 at stumps

Because he's a shit captain with no appreciation of the rhythms of the game. And I'm starting to suspect he's a lazy bastard that just can't be bothered with bowling.

Wait until the Indian spinners start to make use of the rough outside the leg stump. Which is incidentally what Smith should have been doing a bit of himself today.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Odds on batting out day 5?

Don't get me wrong I'm really happy that Maxwell got his hundred but if in 200 overs of play our "all-rounder" bowls 4 overs he is not being selected as an all-rounder. Smith can captain however the *!*!*!*! he wants to be honest but the captain and the selectors need to be on the same page.

He has had issues with his hip which has restricted him from bowling.

They have the same amount of innings at the moment and Smith has made > 600 runs more than Kohli.

Kohli averages 44.61 outside of India, compared to Smith 56.23 outside of Australia.

Kohli is a shit bloke and just as shit a captain. There are mountains of rough for Jadeja to wreak havoc with but he is wasting time with the quicks after lunch.

And he can't review properly either
