    How good is this?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

That's trampoline bounce, weirdest ball tracking I've ever seen.

      Renshaw very fortunate.

Funny teeet from wil anderson saying Renshaw stayed off the ground for more runs than Marsh went on it for

Reckon we need 350 to 400. Cn't see Kohli failing with the bat twice. Be good to get a jump on them

Yeah. I reckon they are underestimating India when they say we have enough already. If we can I'd bat out another day at least try and get the lead past 500 and then give us two days to bowl them out.

I agree Fredie, I don't think a lead of 350 will be enough or a comfortable enough lead so a 400 plus lead is required. We need a big score from Smith and support from Marsh and Wade.

Talk of a lead of 500 is highly unrealistic, that would require a score of 350 and at 4/150 thats a long shot.

A lead of 400 which is another 100 runs would be fantastic and set us up really well with the best prospects of winning a game in India we will have.

Having a lead anything over 400 would be a realistic position for us. If India knock off that sort of lead then they deserve a win.
The first hour today is so critical for us.

The longer we're out there, the worse the pitch gets - that's the key factor for me

Yeah this. The first session today should all be about the lost art of batting through time and letting the pitch deteriorate.

Marsh had a huge bit of luck on and if he had failed his career would have been over. Usually players make scores after being on the edge and let off with that silly review of the bounce, it was never going to bounce like that, and then let of by being dropped in the field.

India can't keep dropping catches today either can they? They dropped Smith 3 times in the last session yesterday.

Two wickets lost on the first hour but we have made 60 runs. Smith still there on a defiant 85.
Wade was given a life when he was caught behind and given not out but lost his wicket a couple of balls later.

A little cameo from one of the tail plus if Smith can get his century will no doubt set up our best chance for a win.

4 Marsh innings this test for a combined 51 runs. About right.
