If you are treating Mitch Marsh as a bowler why on earth would you select him ahead of Hazlewood?
In your scenario why not just select Agar instead of Mitch Marsh? You would certainly lose nothing in batting ability.
The presumption is that Marsh offers more as a batsman than Hazlewood. Understandably this is questionable based on Marsh's output with the willow, but there is no need at all for 3 seamers on such a deck. Hazelwood relies on bounce more than swing so is not suited to these conditions - in fact O'Keefe is opening the bowling with Starc as we speak.
Starc and Hazlewood getting a bit of bounce out of the wicket.
Yep, credit where it's due - they are getting something out of the deck from bending the back.
Where is the criticism for Kohli? If that was Warner on 0 playing such an irresponsible shot he would be copping it from all angles. That was absolute rubbish from Kohli - nice idea from Starc to play to Kohli's arrogance and throw up a half-volley miles wide of off-stump.
Mitch Marsh making the ball talk incredibly. They haven't scored a run off him yet.
