India imploding on a good pitch. Kohli out not offering a shot again. Rahane committing batting suicide. They are miles from 450 which is the par score on this pitch.
Wade's keeping isn't quite measuring up and he could cost us something big if he continues to make errors.

I'm not sure whats got into the Indian's batting.

Arrogance, stemming from their captain. The fish rots at the head.

The two youngsters in now are very talented - they took England to the cleaners a couple of months ago with Rahul making 199 and Nair 303no. Not sure why Rahane, who has been in crap form for a year, was selected ahead of Nair for this series.

I don't know why because we had no reason to be but it's exactly what Australia was suffering from earlier in the summer. Our preperation for the South African series was appalling. Every move they made seemed to throw us into confusion and they didn't even seem to notice when we made a move.

Wade is awful. I've seen him be alright behind the stumps at test level. competent instead of skillful. But he's a liability ATM.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

5/156 now. Another horrible dismissal - Nair dancing down the track and stumped by a mile.

Arrogant batting considering the situation - beautifully bowled by O'Keefe but such an awful premeditated shot given they are only 150-odd with half the wickets back in the shed.

            Re: 2017 Tour of India

Hard to work out what India's batting plan is. I'm pretty sure it's not dance down the pitch and get stumped or shoulder arms to balls that are going to hit the wicket, although Kohli has done that twice in a row now. And two batsmen in a row danced down the pitch and got stumped.

              I suppose 8/50 isn't a bad best bowling figure.

They haven't liked the fact that both Lyon and SOK are bowling a bit quicker and pinning them back in their crease a bit more. They seem a bit confused when they are down the track and the delivery has hurried them up.

How impressive has Matt Renshaw been? He's really made an impression in his short time in the Australian team
To have both openers see through the balance of the session has topped off another good day for Australia

I'm really pleased for Nathan Lyon to snare 8 wickets

                      Re: 2017 Tour of India

India have approached this series with a terrible mindset and have been completely ambushed by a much better prepared opponent. They have batted like millionaires and have paid the price for their hubris. O'Keefe and Lyon have bowled some challenging spells in both tests so far but the Indian batsmen of yesteryear (Tendulkar, Dravid, Laxman, Azarhuddin) would have easily handled such spells. It all started with that awful shot by Kohli in the first innings of the first test.

This series is just about done unless Australia collapses tomorrow. We can get a lead of 200+ on this deck with some application, and it will be all she wrote from there.

Me too, he has really toiled to get to where he is. This will give him a real confidence boost.

Me three. I'm always happy to see a spinner succeed. Lyon is now Australia's most successful off spinner. He overtook Hugh Trumble's figures (141 wickets I think in 32 tests) last season. Lyon has taken 245 in 64 tests so not quite twice as many wickets in twice as many tests.

Pleased for Lyon as he gets some unwarranted flak in this country .
Amazing what a prep does for a series, and a great day for the Aussies

Yep, 4 tests only. And we hold the trophy so a win in this test will be enough to keep it.
