        So'K Rocks

12 wickets in a match puts him in a great club.

Edited with the numbers that matter, their career averages.

Criticism of Marsh has not been harsh at all. Selected as an all rounder and in 2016 averaged 20 with the bat (high score 53) and got 8 wickets in 7 matches @ 54. He has just done nothing to deserve his spot.

            Re: 2017 Tour of India

That was a super performance by the Aussies - a real ambush job on an opponent who approached this match with arrogance and a casual attitude. Said it before the series started that O'Keefe will be the most dangerous spinner for Australia on these decks because of his ability to skid through and hit the pads - his dismissal of Kohli was a sublime piece of bowling that completely bamboozled one of the best players of spin in the world.

India were utterly disgraceful - it all started with their captain and his awful shot in the first innings, which set the tone for the rest of the match. Their fielding was as terrible as their batting, and the bad news for them is that their two frontline spinners and key paceman actually bowled quite well without luck. This series could very well unravel for them unless they completely change their poor attitude.

By contrast the Aussies looked like a close knit team who were all working for each other - not all of them contributed but the team spirit was evident, especially compared to their arrogant and entitled opposition. More of the same in the next test please.

On a side note, does anybody else make as many shit calls as Warney does? On day two (about 20 minutes before the Indian batting carnage), he said O'Keefe was lucky to be selected ahead of Agar and Swepson and was a safe choice that was not going to be a danger on these pitches. You almost need to assume that whatever he says, back in the opposite to occur.

Yesterday a list of the top ten batsman in the world rankings was put up during the broadcast.. Smith was number one and Kohli number two. Warne pipes up and says despite the rankings, Kohli is the best batsman in the world. I think Smith made him eat his words.

I think you could make an argument for the 2 of them, there is really no need to be so disrespectful to Smith like he does.

Kohli has some front. His stumps are pointing at all angles the bails are on the ground and he's standing there shrugging his shoulders staring at okeefe and the umpire as to say "what happens now?" He just didn't want to go anywhere and was desperately searching through his mind for the glaringly obvious reason he wasn't out.

Warnie as an expert. Yeah. Right. I love Warnie but he's not a deep thinker about the game.

Kohl is a superb batsman, who makes the game look easy. Smith is a gritty competitor who looks awful but is effective. It's line ball as to who is better.

India should be fuming with their effort in all areas of the game. They dropped catches they shouldn't have and their batting just lacked application. It will be very interesting to see their response in the next test.

Really happy for O'Keefe. He's put together a great record for NSW, was ignored, had some struggles but has finally put it together for his country

Would have to be the best win since probably the Adelaide ashes win in 06.
i think they may have perceived this series as a bit of a doddle but have bee caught with their pants down .
Looked a different team since making the changes after losing the S/A series

Great to see some new young faces in the team like Renshaw, Handscome, O'Keefe, etc

Heh! Kohli won the toss and nearly fell over himself saying bat. Is it just me or have we not lost a toss for a while?

Thinking back to when I was a kid and I had to have an autistic knowledge of these things I think I remember that Herbie Collins had won the most consecutive tosses in the early 1920s. It was nine or eleven. It's probably more by now.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Lucky Wade. Fumbled an easy stumping but Rahane was almost kissing the bowler, so far out of his crease he was.

India imploding on a good pitch. Kohli out not offering a shot again. Rahane committing batting suicide. They are miles from 450 which is the par score on this pitch.
