Re: Trade Rumours 2024
I'm still relatively new to the forum so pardon me if this is a silly question, but do we have any posters on Woof with a link to inside knowledge regarding trade and list management stuff that share from time to time? Only asking because it's not often we see those kinds of posts, and it's mainly info from BF and other areas that is shared chinese whispers style.
Just follow me. I speak accuracy.
Everyone else here makes it up. It?s cute but sloppy.
First inside intel? We?re full strength for first final. And we win by exactly 47 points. If we don?t? let?s converse.
We also only get 1 first rounder for Baz.Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
This guy is getting a few clubs interested in him
INTRIGUING INTEREST BUILDING FOR UNCAPPED GIANT
As GWS continue their chase for a maiden AFL premiership, rival clubs whose season is already over are ramping up their interest in untried Giants utility Wade Derksen.
Taken by the Giants in the 2022 Mid-Season Draft, Derksen is yet to represent the orange and charcoal in his two years at the club, but has compiled some solid VFL form across his time there.
“Wade Derksen’s probably not on the lips of many footy fans, but he is on the lips of recruiters and he’s going to be in the trade market,” the Herald Sun’s Josh Barnes revealed on Fox Footy’s Midweek Tackle.
“He has multiple suitors in Victoria, WA clubs are after him as well. He’s playing at GWS in the VFL this year, he’s played defence all year – he also thinks he’s a forward, kicked six goals (in three games) late in the year for GWS!”
The key defender averaged a tick under 20 disposals and seven marks this season in the VFL, and last year kicked multiple bags of five goals when playing up forward – highlighting his versatility.
“Melbourne Demons are one club that are after him, he’s about to have twins this week so he’s after a bit more family support – he has that both in WA and Victoria, but Victoria’s probably his preference (as) he has a bit more family support there,” Barnes added.
Derksen is one of nine Giants signed on at the club until 2025, which makes the interest from clubs such as Melbourne more interesting, with GWS well within their rights to hold him for another 12 months before moving.

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
It's well known in football circles that Ken Hinkley and Zac Butters have a very strong almost father/son like relationship. Whisper is that if Port Adelaide get smoked again this weekend that Hinkley is almost certain to leave and if that happens that Butters would increasingly look to move back to Victoria to continue his career. Here's hoping for a Hawks win this coming weekend. Surely we would have started working to get him back to his childhood club. Get onto it Dogs.Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
Would Callaghan be massive though? We would need to give up a ton and like, what does he actually do? He looks like a million bucks but he’s nowhere near as impactful as you’d assume he is.- I'm a visionary - Only here to confirm my biases -Comment
