So what are people's gut feelings?
It will be most interesting to see what fresh information WADA puts on the table, surely it will be far more comprehensive than the AFL's efforts (no witnesses called!). I will be surprised if they have gone through this process without something fairly substantial to show.
On the other hand, given time already out of the game, presumed lack of conclusive evidence for every individual player and mitigating circumstances (players being lied to etc), the full 2 years will almost certainly not be applied.
If I had to guess, I'll go for 6 months, which would see the players return in July.
