That quote to me says i love this club and want to coach this club into the future ,"And ultimately if I'm not coaching here next year, I won't be coaching anywhere else." thats as decisive as you can make a statement , if he was thinking of going else where he could of used the old , im not a mind reader i dont know whats in the future , but he has come out and put his cards on the table , now its up to the club to decide if they want him going forward . I think if you have an employee as dedicated to the cause as Bevo sounds then you go with them , better the devil you know .

If either he or the club made a decision to part ways at the end of 2025, well...there are a number of opportunities that would open up for our coach that he probably hasn't considered...if one of them was coaching another club, well....
I mean, I know he can't see that happening now but who knows what might happen. I actually believe what Bevo has said (it's the Dogs or no-one) but things change!!What should I tell her? She's going to ask.👍 3Comment

I think we all feel that way about parts of our lives mate - but none of us can see into the future (even Bevo).

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.👍 1Comment

Despite losing a number of quality players we would have regarded as vital I don't think many could argue Bevo's not coaching well
Time will tell if it's enough for him to get another deal.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

we need to get a contract with front of him and ensure the JUH is kept on a level balanced point of viewBB.

I wanted this put to bed last year. I would have signed him for another year (end of 2026) with triggers for another one (end of 2027) based on this season performances.
As it is now, I've been impressed enough with his coaching in difficult circumstances so I'd be okay with a 2 year extension.
Just to top it off, I've never been that worried about losing senior coaches as there appears to be a lot of assistants worth considering but as a club if we are still unsure he's the right man we better start getting into the market while still be as respectful to Bevo as anyone can. Confidentiality clauses can keep things respectful.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

I would give him a 3 year deal. He has managed the rebuild well, despite losing Smith, Dunkley and now likely JUH.
He has changed his tactics and was prepared to make some tough calls on players he wanted and didn't want.Comment
