It’s being reported that Jake Carlisle is on the table. Pretty sure he’s out of contract.

    Any interest?

Look - yes, but he just seems like such a tool. The harmony of our playing group is one of its big strengths, and something that we've burned a lot of stock to get right. We'd need to do some serious vetting.

Yep, massive tool. If I recall correctly, didn’t Bevo meet with him when he left Essendon & wasn’t a fan?

I hope the rumours of us and Josh Bruce aren't true.. He's a shocking kick for goal, a butcher with the ball and has little footy smarts, who often makes poor decisions.

3AW apparently reporting Jack Martin very keen on Hawks. I'd be really disappointed if we lost out on him.

Seems like we’re always the trade period bridesmaid when it comes to Hawthorn, it’d be nice to secure one over them for once.

I thought the same on Bruce, but his career average is over 60% surprisingly. Originally he was a KPD, I wonder if anyone thinking about him is seeing him at either end.

They can't seemingly get Martin, Cogs & Patton. Or can they??

The Age article by Mick Gleeson you posted on Martin didn't even mention Hawthorn??

I know. Fair chance the different media outlets are just blurting out their own rumours, hoping they've got the inside word.

If they do, they must be hypnotising players to play for gold coin donations!

Who at 3AW had that rumour re Hawthorn? Gleeson is usually fairly straight shooting.

I don't know, I read that from 'the other site'.

He's averaged just 11 possessions a game this year and has only managed 10 games.
At his best he's good enough to play in just about any team but for me it's hard to get that excited about recruiting players from other clubs who have exhibited some poor decisions as he has

Saw him a couple of times on the tv and gee he looked slow. Not sure if he was carrying an injury.
