I don't know enough about him tbh. He just seems a bit too vanilla for my liking. On baller with average foot skills.

West Coast are apparently keen on Curtin more than any midfielders.
More of an In Bruges guy?

I see it going something like this
        1. Curtain
        2. Reid
        3. Walter
        4. McKercher
        5. Duursma
        6. Watson

I just hope if north do get Reid, they go after Watson or Caddy to avoid having too many top pick midfielders.

Hopefully the reports are right that Hawks are into Duursma.

Surely north don’t get a further assistance pick outside of the Ben McKay compo.

If it came to that Duursma or Watson would be a great addition for us. I'd add Saunders as well
If North get Reid then they could be tempted to look at taller players to help cover the loss of McKay because Simpkin, Phillips, LDU, Wardlaw, Scott, Thomas along with Reid and potentially Sanders is a good combination of players.

I'd hope we could add McKercher but Duursma or Watson are excellent options.

It's an interesting request they have to try and land Sanders. As I understand it they want the option to match a bid for him.

If North land Reid and can match an offer for Sanders then they'll almost certainly be looking to a KP player with their McKay compensation pick.

Is Watson too similar to Cody? Is he the answer to our small forward problem? Our is he another marking small? I also read somewhere his forward pressure isn't a strong point.

No very different. Total ground ball freak.

If we get Watson I'll virtually run naked through woof.

Now I know we will lose a few members, it might just be me and EW left....

I suppose put like that, North getting Sanders may actually help us get McKercher.

Why do you love him THAT much? Would you take him over McKercher?

I've honestly only read write ups on these guys. I've seen zero game time.

This excites me - your & EW’s confidence with Watson that is, not the running naked bit (no offence intended). I know it’s fraught with danger but can you liken his play and hunger to current or past players? Sounds like you’d be as happy with him or even more so than most of the other reputed top draft picks? Thanks in advance GG.

Gee thanks Scotty Clayton. Was it the Yarra he was going to swim with his call on Jarrod Grant.

I don't recall ever expressing an opinion on Watson. I'm just here for the nude run.
