Re: 2023 Draft Watch
Surely that isn't right......it can't be. I know the afel is a diabolical shambles but even that level of stupidity is beyond them right?......Comment

Dominating position for them. It gives them plenty of currency to use but they've missed out on being able to pre-list Sanders haven't they?Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

The AFL reserves the right to review the 2024 draft selections at the end of next season, however the club will be able to use the picks in trades this year.Comment

Re: 2023 Draft Watch
This is hilarious. Imagine blowing up your list and making careless decisions to then put your hand out for help. Then the afel thinks giving handouts is the answer to ensuring the club doesn't fold. It'll only encourage the same behaviour from other clubs. Absolute joke of an organisation. If North wins a flag from this will Gillon get up on the dias and lift the cup?Comment

Re: 2023 Draft Watch
Goodness me. Where do I sign. What?s the chances of us taking him considering our picks and what must be a high level of interest in him? Looks like he has skills for midfield as well as an excellent goal kick. Shades of Aker about his play.Josie :)

Re: 2023 Draft Watch
Code Sports has this speculation regarding our draft position
WESTERN BULLDOGS
Draft Picks before Trade Period: 10, 17, 37, 64, 67, 70
Rivals believe the Western Bulldogs are in the box seat to land Gold Coast’s prized top four pick, with pick 10, 17 and their future first round selection on the table. It makes sense for the Bulldogs given a bid for father-son key forward Jordan Croft, the son of Matthew, could come between their two first-round picks. Holding pick four could help them land a dynamic midfielder like Zane Duursma or Colby McKercher.
Alternatively, livewire forward Nick Watson would spice up their forward line and form a mouthwatering combination with Cody Weightman and talls Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Aaron Naughton. The Bulldogs' list isn't seriously lacking in one area but the club ranked last in the competition for defensive one-on-one wins and 14th for defensive half intercepts. It comes with a touch of irony that their Next Generation Academy talent Luamon Lual, who appears likely to attract a bid inside the top 40, would help address this need as a great one-on-one defender who is poised with ball-in-hand. But the Bulldogs have hit the jackpot in recent years with NGA top-pick Ugle-Hagan and father-son Sam Darcy.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment
