He was previously part of their NGA for 5 years before 'certificate of Aboriginality' questions were raised more recently.

He should be part of their NGA - and subject to the current rules of the NGA, just as Lual is for us.

This appears to be the case. They want to be able to match any bid on him so the rules will have to be altered for them to do so.
North could get 3 top 10 picks this year.

I've seen a bit of Charlie Edwards at Sandy Dragons and since he had a breakout game halfway through the year moved from half back into the middle, he's torn it up. He's from Bendigo and missed out on Vic Country but has outperformed most of them in the second half of the year. He's a strong cricketer too, so the word was that he had a slow start to the footy season because of his cricket. Tall mid/half back/wing. Good athlete and strong leader. Sydney, St Kilda and GWS are sniffing.

He has played all year with Riley Sanders (Sandy and APS school footy) and whilst Sanders just doesn't play a bad game, Edwards has outshone him on a number of occasions. Don't know if he'd still be available after whatever pick(s) we use for Croft. Late bolters are always of interest.

Love that. His bio was intriguing to me and sounds like a player worth contemplating if we have a chance. Reading your insights certainly sounds like someone who may rise fast over coming weeks.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Is there a father son rule for administrators?

FAMOUS FOOTY NAME EMERGES AS DRAFT CHANCE

THE SON of former Western Bulldogs chief executive Dennis Galimberti has made a late impression on scouts to push his draft stocks.

Billy McGee-Galimberti has been a regular member of the Sandringham Dragons' line-up this season but played perhaps the game of his campaign on Sunday in the Coates Talent League elimination final against the Northern Knights.

The 180cm prospect gathered 28 disposals, 10 marks and six rebound-50s as he continues to show some of his dash from defence.

A good kick of the ball, McGee-Galimberti has also used his speed to take the game on and catch the eye.

McGee-Galimberti has played 11 games for the Dragons this season averaging 18 disposals, while also playing at school level for St Kevin's College in Melbourne.

His father was a long-serving chief executive of Footscray between 1986 and 1996, playing a pivotal role in the Dogs avoiding a merger with Fitzroy. ? Callum Twomey

Poor kid. What type of decision results in your surname being hypehenated. As if Galimberti isn't already a mouthful. He has to run around with "McGee-Galimberti".

My partner had a 36 hour labour and traumatic emergency caesarean. When she said she wanted to double barrel the kids name you reckon I was gonna say no?

Nothing wrong with a double barrel name. Hope she was ok in the end.

Both our kids labours were blink and you would miss them so no hyphenation here.

My wife's and my surnames are both 10 letters long, the kids would never have been able to fit their names on a form if we hyphenated!

Can't double-barrel Greek surnames otherwise we will be here all day. Would be a few other nationalities in the same boat.
