I had my AstraZeneca about 3 weeks ago..under 50, but with an underlying health issue my doc said ok). Had a very sore arm for 3 days..couldn’t sleep on it, and felt jet lagged for 2. All good now though. 2nd shot in July.

I work in the healthcare sector and being under 50 got my first Pfizer dose last Friday May 28 at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton. Booked in for my second Pfizer dose in around 2 weeks from now on June 18.

11 cases today. This impact on footy isn’t going away anytime soon.

Best case we get an exemption to get into Geelong in a week. Then hopefully WA waves us through having been in country Victoria. That covers the next three weeks for us.

Personally, I think it would be best for everyone if the Geelong game was moved to South Australia.

11 cases today. This impact on footy isn’t going away anytime soon.

9 local cases I heard. That's not a good sign on the back of relatively low numbers recently and now that we're 11 days into lockdown. The AFL is gonna have to accept this season can't continue as-is. Either start hubs or take a 2-week pause.

Yes that's quite alarming. If they're linked to known cases then a bit better, but these variants are concerning. We must be perfect Covid conditions down here with the weather and demographic.
Be an interesting press conference this morning. Tough gig.

Gotta say, the way these cases are communicated by the gov leave a lot to be desired. They tweet out the raw numbers in the morning and then we need to wait hours for the press conference before knowing if they are mystery cases or linked to close contacts etc. The Victorian public is already on edge and agitated, this sort of communication strategy doesn't help.

You could be forgiven if you believed they want the public on edge.

I expect that the cases are linked to known sites/cases but they really don't want anyone feeling comfortable.
