I paid the extra $2.99. Ridiculous how much we spend on streaming nowadays.

I have started cutting back, especially since Foxtel has forced everyone to take the Platinum package. If it wasn't for the footy, I would ditch Foxtel

Starting watching season 2 of Responder. Martin Freeman incredible performance

I?m about 4 eps in to S2. I like it but it?s so anxiety inducing I have to parse it out over an extended period.

Ride shock for me when I got ads during this week’s episode of The Boys.

What’s the point of paying for streaming if it had ads mid show ffs?

The die was cast 30 years ago when Australia said "yeah sure we'll pay for cable TV, load it up with ads".

If you're annoyed about streaming services putting ads in their shows walk away and sail the high seas.

Or get angry at every rube that has lined Rupert Murdoch's pockets for years.

It's just that it's harder than apathy is.

I was trying to think when well baked recently, of all of the things if anything in general that have actually gotten better. The process didn't help my buzz.

We're about to see another interest rate rise come our way, and that's at the same time general consumption has grown at ~0.1% with the contributors triggering the likely rise being different types of insurances and utilities in the main.

So on the brink of a technical recession we're all about to cop 0.25% in interest rates for increases in the costs to services that have materially gotten worse and deliver less, but are deemed essential, while we're all tightening our belts on goods and services that give us less for our dollar anyway.

What a time to be alive! Spend less on things of diminishing quality, but go backwards because the essential things of diminishing quality that you need to spend on are inversely impacting the value for money curve.*

I didn't see any. They're in the post though I think and I can live with it. I pretty much only value time taken away from me by others, but spend it like a time millionaire if it's up to me.

Waiting for a mate to visit before we watch this season (which will be next week), but the lack of any meaningful progress in season 3 did not fill me with hope.

So far from what I've gathered 4 isn't gonna improve my disposition.
