Mitch Marsh's top score is 87 (2014). Factoring in Ferguson, Cartright and Voges one innings semi-recently - I think on the stats sheets I've read that if Maxwell scores 6 more runs its the highest score from an Australian #6 since 2013 or earlier, and it's already the highest score from a #6 since that 2014 innings.

one no ball in 90 overs is a fair effort from India. No wides either.
Maxwell has a very correct technique. He has an immaculate forward defence as well as the hand/eye power hitting thing. He can actually bat as well as slog. There's no reason why he couldn't succeed at test level. With him it's more about temperament and learning to bat in partnerships.They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

This is one of the things about cricket stats that I find infuriating.
Smith gets a 50 and it is called his 21st fifty, buts moves onto 100 and suddenly he has only 20 fifties.
I think his record which is now 19 centuries, should be recorded as 39 fifties with 19 converted to centuries.
