    Re: A League

Is it really true that Zola is favourite for the Victory job?

    Please don't be true.

Also a big rumour he is earmarked to fill Ray Wilkins old job, now that would be better

Apparently Zola's daughter is boarding with a Victory director while studying here.

Now the Newcastle Jets have pulled out of the A league, not happy with the way the A league is being run.
Seems their is something in what Clive Parker was saying.

Maybe their owner is sick of losing money.

I have to side with Chef on this one. The whole private ownership thing is rarely profitable, particularly when you build from the ground up.

Tinkler accepted the terms and signed a long term contract. Why is he the good guy?

Yes the Aleague gave him a period of time to decide if he wanted to keep the licence, before it finished he signed a 10 year deal.

Well that was disappointing. ( for some)
Definite different style from a victory perspective, passing the ball deep in our half.
Defence got opened up and they were lucky they didn't concede 5.

Your keeper was very good, but some of Hearts finishing was quite average.
